Benefits For You

I believe you need to find what works for you, so never compare yourself to anyone else.  Yoga should be for you – it should make you light up from the inside and empower you by making you feel good about yourself.

Yoga provides a safe space to explore what your mind and body are capable of right now in this moment – forget about the past or the future – be present in the now!  This is your opportunity to regroup, to find your essence, to really tune in – body, mind and soul.

Yoga is where I come to unwind and re-connect with myself – and it’s that same feeling I  want to create for my students.  Life is tough enough, so if you are adding more stress by beating yourself up when trying to achieve that elusive perfect pose, then from my perspective, you are missing the whole point of yoga.

To me, yoga should be all about learning how to connect with yourself on whatever level you can (no matter how shaky at first). Don’t take yourself too seriously and more importantly: breathe, relax, enjoy – the rest will come as you allow your body and mind to take you to new spaces.
