Who Am I?

I am a certified yoga and Pilates teacher, with more than 25 years of experience on the mat.

My alternating Yoga & Pilates fusion classes blends the best of both disciplines, working in unison to shape & tone – challenging strength, flexibility, coordination & balance (body & mind).

Who Am I?

I am a certified yoga teacher, with more than 20 years of yoga experience.

Essentially I’m a perpetual yoga student sharing my experience and knowledge to make yoga fun and uncomplicated – easy to absorb practical information for anyone interested in exploring yoga or wanting to take their love of yoga to a new level.

My Objective

My focus is on increasing flexibility and strength, whilst simultaneously releasing stress. To do this I constantly juxtapose opposites – slow and fast, movement and rest, expansion and contraction – to open up exciting new spaces inside the body, and foster balance.

I encourage students to progress at their own pace, exploring their boundaries, whilst honouring their own body’s need in each moment.

My teaching style is a fusion of Hatha, Kripalu, Vini and Vinyasa yoga, inflused with core Pilates principles.

I combine breathing, static poses and vinyasas (stringing together poses to form a flow). Emphasis is put on body form and alignment, all the while encouraging you to really tune in and become self-aware.
